LEADING insurance specialist Express Insurance will continue to invest in off-road sport in 2010 as it remains the title sponsor to the ACU British Youth Motocross Championship and insurance partner to the Maxxis British Motocross Championship.Express Insurance made the conscious move into motocross in 2009 and has been thrilled with the reception it has had. It has been a successful partnership for everyone involved as well as a steep learning curve. Express Insurance has been involved in British Superbikes since 2004 so this was a bit of a departure going to the off road world.
By continuing to support the ACU British Youth Motocross into 2010, as well as backing the ACU Maxxis British Motocross Championship, Express Insurance shows it is serious in its commitment to off road sport. The intention is to support grass roots sport as Express Insurance sees this as the future of motorcycling.

In order to share its new found love for Motocross, Express Insurance organised two very successful "Learn to Motocross" days with assistance from Hucklebridge Events. Journalists from all disciplines were invited to Leigh Delamare in Wiltshire where former Grand Prix Motocross Rider Mark Hucklebridge put them through their paces. Car journalists, Radio DJ's and motorcycle road riders alike were all taught how to ride off road and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the event.

As a leading intermediary Express Insurance can offer competitive insurance and tailor-made policies to meet you're every need even if you have points on your licence. It offers van; motorcycle and car cover which is ideal for any off-road fan, especially with Fire & Theft cover available for off road machines.

Tony Way, Express Insurance Managing Director, said: "Our first season in motocross, while it has been a learning curve for us, it has also been very productive and successful. We have enjoyed it immensely and we are really looking forward to 2010 when we hope both championships will go from strength to strength. The young talent that is out there at the moment is impressive and we hope that our continued support will help them develop their racing careers."
